About the project

Favent is a job-finding app. Job seekers sign up, build a profile with their skills, qualifications and experience, and find jobs.

Favent was my first mobile app, in July 2021: a job-finding app where people build a profile with their skills, qualifications and experience, then find and track jobs.

I built sign-up, password reset and the full profile onboarding with validated forms. The backend was never built, so it stops at the screens.

Design

What I did

• Designed the whole app in Figma first: about 20 screens, an icon set and reusable components
• Login, sign-up and a 3-step password reset, with form validation
• Profile onboarding: details, skills and industries, qualifications, work experience, resume
• Add and remove qualifications and jobs in a popup form
• Reusable inputs, buttons and cards

• Designing every screen in Figma before writing code
• My first React Native app
• My first form library
